Jakarta Intercultural School is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction projects, manage budgets, procurement, and documentation, while coordinating with site teams and leadership.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least five years of construction/project experience, with strong English skills and a methodical approach. This on-site position emphasizes safety, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required (Civil or Architecture preferable).
• Minimum five years of work experience in a construction or project environment.
• Good computer literacy including MS Office, MS Project, CAD/BIM & Specialist Software.
• Proficiency in English (verbal & written).
• Ability to work in a team and strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a methodical work approach.
• Clear commitment to child protection, safety, service learning, and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting the cost of different materials needed for the project.
• Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
• Tracking all changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly.
• Procuring or agreeing on the services of contractors and subcontractors who work on the project.
• Procuring materials, monitoring the procurement process until completion, and communicating progress to the head of project.
• Monitoring and keeping all records for the work that has already been done.
• Liaising with site managers, project managers, and site engineers.
• Helping in selecting and sourcing construction materials.
• Writing reports regarding all the works.
• Tracking project progress; monitoring work plan execution and writing project-related reports and other documentation; coordinating and scheduling project meetings.
• Contributes towards the development and scoping of projects.
• Help finish the project on schedule, managing obstacles and enabling project managers to lead their teams and reach business objectives.
• Assisting the project leader by communicating with involved parties and managing timelines and deliverables.
• Adept at administrative tasks including document preparation, scheduling, and minute-taking.

• Performing other related duties as assigned by the Head of Project.
