PT Bali Cahaya Makmur (BCM), trading as Markov Construction, is seeking an experienced Concrete Pump Operator & Technician in Bali. The role covers operation, movement, inspection, maintenance and repairs of a diesel-powered hydraulic trailer-mounted pump.

Markov Construction is a Bali-based general contracting and architecture company delivering construction projects across Bali.
We are looking for an experienced Concrete Pump Operator & Technician to take full responsibility for the operation, movement, inspection, maintenance and practical repair of our diesel-powered hydraulic trailer-mounted concrete pump.
The operator will report to Company Management and coordinate daily work with the responsible Project Manager, Site Manager, batching plant personnel, concrete-truck drivers, supervisors and concrete workers.
This is not a basic machine-operator position. The successful candidate must understand the complete concrete pump system and be capable of keeping the equipment safe, properly maintained and ready for operation.
Complete all required pre-start inspections before every concrete pour.
Position and set up the pump based on site access, ground conditions, pipeline layout, pumping distance and pour requirements.
Assemble, inspect, secure and dismantle pipes, hoses, bends, clamps, couplings, seals and other pumping accessories.
Prime the pumping system and control pumping pressure, output and concrete flow.
Coordinate pumping operations with the batching plant, concrete-truck drivers and site team.
Monitor concrete consistency and identify concrete that could cause blockages, excessive pressure or equipment damage.
Respond safely to blockages, pressure problems, reduced output, overheating and other operating faults.
Complete the correct shutdown, pressure release, pipeline cleaning and pump washing procedures after every pour.
Inspect and maintain the diesel engine, hydraulic system, pumping cylinders, hopper, agitator, lubrication system, electrical controls and safety devices.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and concrete-pumping faults.
Complete routine servicing, adjustments, component replacement and practical site repairs.
Identify worn or damaged components before they cause breakdowns or delays.
Replace common wear parts, seals, hoses, clamps, filters, oils, lubricants and other service components.
Identify when specialist repair work is required and report the problem immediately.
Maintain the required tools, spare parts, consumables and emergency repair materials.
Prepare the pump for safe movement between the warehouse and construction sites.
Safely load, unload, tow, position, secure and relocate the pump.
Inspect the trailer, tyres, supports, connections, lighting and securing points before transportation.
Ensure all pipes, hoses, tools and accessories are counted and safely transported.
Protect the pump from damage during transportation, operation, cleaning and storage.
Maintain simple records of operating hours, servicing, repairs, breakdowns and replaced parts.
Follow BCM HSE procedures and applicable Indonesian K3 requirements.
Maintain a safe working area around the pump, hopper, pipeline and discharge hose.
Never disconnect or repair a pressurised concrete pipeline or hydraulic system.
Ensure all clamps, safety pins, supports, connections, guards and emergency devices are correctly installed.
Immediately report unsafe conditions, serious faults, equipment damage or missing safety components.
Keep the pump and surrounding work area clean and organised.
Prevent unauthorised operation, misuse and avoidable equipment damage.
Minimum five years of proven experience operating concrete pumps.
Direct experience with diesel-powered hydraulic trailer-mounted, stationary or line concrete pumps.
Ability to independently operate, position, set up and clean a concrete pump.
Strong practical understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pumping systems, electrical controls, pipes, hoses and wear components.
Ability to diagnose faults and complete routine servicing and practical repairs.
Experience safely identifying and clearing concrete-pipeline blockages.
Ability to recognise unsuitable concrete consistency and other conditions that could affect pumping.
Good understanding of concrete-pump safety and high-pressure hazards.
Ability to understand and use very basic English construction and equipment words.
Physically capable of handling pipes, hoses, clamps, tools and other pumping equipment.
Willing to work at different BCM construction projects throughout Bali.
Available for early-morning, evening, weekend and extended concrete pours when required.
Able to provide verifiable employment history and professional references.
Responsible for maintaining the condition and operational readiness of the assigned equipment.
SMK education in mechanical, automotive, heavy-equipment or industrial engineering.
SIM B1, SIM B2 or another licence suitable for equipment transportation.
Basic welding and metal-fabrication skills.
Experience operating and repairing a pump similar to BCM’s diesel-powered hydraulic trailer pump.
BPJS in accordance with company policy and Indonesian requirements.
THR in accordance with Indonesian employment requirements.
Overtime managed according to the employment agreement and applicable regulations.

We are looking for a practical, reliable and safety-conscious operator who understands the concrete pump completely, takes care of company equipment and can independently handle normal operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and practical repairs.
