Job summary

PCI Private Limited, Batam, Indonesia, is seeking a sourcing professional to support new projects by procuring electronic components and performing cost analysis. You will manage supplier relationships and implement supply-management strategies to meet KPI targets.

The role requires a diploma in a related field and at least 2 years in EMS or electronics procurement, with strong Excel skills and English communication. Senior candidates may be considered for higher responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in EMS or electronic manufacturing.
• Experience in sourcing, purchasing or procuring electronic components.
• Strong knowledge in electronic commodities (active or passive).
• SAP ERP knowledge is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
• Good command of English to liaise with stakeholders; senior level considered for strong candidates.

Responsibilities

• Source electronic components to support new projects.
• Perform cost analysis and select the best supplier to meet product requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships on all commercial issues.
• Execute cost reduction and VA/VE activities to meet KPIs.
• Implement supply management strategies including VMI, JIT, and EDI capabilities.
• Serve as escalation point for delivery issues during MP and NPI stages.
• Maintain SAP data integrity.

To source electronic components to support new projects

To be able to perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the product requirement

To be responsible in managing the relationship with suppliers on all commercial issues

To perform cost reduction, VA/VE activities, etc to achieve the KPIs set by the management (eg. the material cost reduction target)

To be able to implement supply management strategies and activities such as VMI, JIT, EDI capabilities, etc.

To be the escalation point when there is delivery issues during the MP and NPI stages

Management of SAP data integrity

Requirements:

At least a Diploma in any related field

Minimum 2 years working experience in the EMS or Electronic Manufacturing Environment

Experience in sourcing, purchasing or procuring of electronic components

Strong knowledge in electronic commodities (eg. active or passive electronic components)

Knowledgeable of SAP ERP will be advantageous

Possess good computer skills including MS Office and strong in Microsoft Excel

Proficient in English Language (both spoken and written) to liaise with various stakeholders

Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered for a Senior position
