Job summary

Osteria Luna in Bali seeks a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations. You will assist in ingredient prep, washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning while ensuring proper labeling and storage to preserve freshness and quality.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the kitchen team in preparing ingredients and food items according to restaurant standards.
• Perform basic food preparation including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Ensure all ingredients are stored, labeled, and handled properly for freshness and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
• Follow Chef and senior team guidance during daily operations.
• Support in preparing dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Handle and store food to maintain quality and safety.
• Assist during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
