Nirvana Life Bali is seeking a Commis to assist in daily kitchen operations, preparing and cooking items per established recipes and standards. This hands-on role supports the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure timely, hygienic food preparation and consistent quality during service.

The ideal candidate has basic cooking knowledge, understands food safety, and can work under pressure as part of a team. Long-standing shifts and active kitchen involvement are expected.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Experience in cooking or kitchen operations preferred.

A Commis is responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes and quality standards. Working under the supervision of a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef, the Commis ensures timely, consistent, and hygienic food preparation to support smooth kitchen operations. This role is hands‑on and essential for daily kitchen productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist in inventory control and stock rotation

Requirements:
