Job summary

Meratus Group in Jakarta seeks a Commercial Executive to coordinate RFQ and tender preparation through to order execution and delivery, ensuring all commercial, contractual, and technical requirements are aligned with the strategy.

You will work with Sales, Engineering, Planning, Legal, Finance, and HSES to gather inputs, review requirements, and manage external communications with regional and global customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in the Port, Logistics, Shipping or related field.
• Familiar with Container terminal commercial operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RFQ and tender documents and prepare quotations aligned with strategy.
• Review RFQ & tender requirements with Sales, Engineering, Planning, QA, Legal, Finance, HSES.
• Lead PO and contract reviews and coordinate end-to-end order execution.
• Initiate order kickoffs and ensure accurate Sales Orders and delivery.
• Manage external communications with regional/global customers on quotations and inquiries.
• Coordinate internal communications across Outbound Delivery, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Legal, Finance, HSES.

Job description

The Commercial Executive is responsible for coordinating and managing the end to end commercial process, from customer requests for quotation and tender preparation through to order execution and delivery.

This role ensures that all commercial, contractual, and technical requirements are accurately reviewed, aligned, and fulfilled by working closely with internal stakeholders and external customer.

Job Description

• Coordinate Customer Request for Quotation (RFQ) and tender documents, and prepare quotations in alignment with the agreed commercial and technical strategy.
• Review RFQ & tender requirements and coordinate with relevant functions (Sales & Aftermarket, Engineering, Planning, QA, Legal, Finance, HSES) to gather inputs for tender &/or Quotation preparation and submission.
• Lead Purchase Order (PO) and contract reviews with both internal and external stakeholders, and to coordinate the full order execution process, including order entry and delivery to the customer.
• Initiate order kickoffs with relevant stakeholders (Engineering, Planning, QA, etc.), enter Sales Orders accurately, and coordinate end to end order execution to ensure compliance with contractual requirement.
• Manage external communications with regional and global customers, including handling quotations, order status updates, and related commercial inquiries.
• Manage internal communications with regional teams across Outbound Delivery, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Legal, Finance, and HSES to monitor work in progress and ensure smooth operational coordination.

• Familiarity with Container terminal commercial operations.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office suite of applications.
