Job summary

SIGMATECH is seeking a skilled Web Developer – Backend in Jakarta to design and implement scalable Golang services for a wide range of products. You will focus on reliability, latency, and throughput while working within a collaborative engineering team.

You will build modern web applications, integrate with SQL/NoSQL databases, and leverage cloud platforms and microservices to deliver high-quality software for Southeast Asia users.

Qualifications

• 3 years of backend experience
• Proficient in Golang
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture
• Familiar with unit testing and clean architecture
• Ex banking is preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance cutting edge services in GO language with a focus on availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of products
• Build and deploy performant modern web applications using React, Redux, Webpack, ES6, and Flow
• Collaborate with the engineering team to explore scalable design/architectures
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards
• Engage in capacity planning, performance analysis, tuning and optimization
• Collaborate with product and experience teams to define feature specifications
• Work with infrastructure to build and scale back-end services and perform root cause investigations
• Design, build, analyze and fix large-scale systems
• Learn full-stack performance tuning and optimization
• Debug and modify complex production software serving millions of users in Southeast Asia

Job description

1. Proven experience (3 years) in Web Developer – Backend.

2. Strong Knowledge in Programming with Golang

3. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.

4. Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.

5. Familiar with unit testing and clean architecture

6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skill.

7. Ex banking is preffered

• Design and enhance cutting edge services in GO language setting a high standard for availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Grab's range of products
• Build and deploy performant modern web applications in React, Redux, Webpack, ES6, and Flow
• Work with the engineering team to explore and create new design/architectures geared towards scale and performance

• Engage in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning, and optimization

• Learn full-stack performance tuning and optimization
