RECLICKS Center for Research and Education in Climate Finance, in collaboration with Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center and I-CAN, invites a Climate Finance–Renewable Energy Research Analyst intern to support data cleaning, model customization, and scenario assessment for geothermal energy in Indonesia. Join a multi-partner FINCAPES project with global relevance.

The role emphasizes methodology development, data handling, and policy-oriented analysis, offering hands-on experience in energy transition

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Environmental Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Knowledge of or experience in economic modeling (e.g., CGE frameworks) or policy analysis.
• Interest in climate finance and climate policy.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage and interpret data.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proactive and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Methodology Development: support development and use of project’s research plan and methodologies.
• Data Collection: collect and clean data sets.
• Data Analysis: conduct analysis of collected data.
• Report Preparation: contribute to Briefing Paper and reports, ensuring data-driven, clearly communicated findings.
• Research Process Assessment: provide end-of-assignment assessment with recommendations.
