Job summary

Oxford Policy Management in Jakarta, Indonesia, seeks a Consultant – Energy, Resources & Growth to lead and support projects in Indonesia and beyond. The role focuses on clean energy, natural resource management and sustainable growth with involvement in business development and bids.

You will develop senior external relationships, contribute to policy analysis and research, and support capacity building and learning across the Climate and Nature teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s or other post-graduate qualification in relevant discipline such as environmental management, energy studies, social studies, political science, economics etc
• Substantial relevant work experience on clean energy, green growth and/or natural resources management
• Proven ability to work on climate policy, climate finance, biodiversity and environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support on delivering projects and bids in Indonesia and beyond
• Proactively pursue and deliver opportunities in Indonesia to expand work on clean energy and sustainable growth
• Lead bids, form partnerships and ensure commercial alignment of offers
• Author technical and research outputs and manage client reporting
• Build senior external relationships to identify opportunities and deliver impact
• Develop, promote and mainstream climate and nature work in Indonesia to grow future work
