Job summary

Carroll Community College is seeking a student employee for the Littlest Learners Child Development Center. You will assist with classroom activities, help direct attention, and support safety practices throughout the center.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn. The role requires collaboration with staff, faculty, and families in a developmentally appropriate setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and successful completion of a background check.
• Willingness to learn and promote developmentally appropriate practice.

• Flexibility to perform various duties and support staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Promote philosophy of Littlest Learners Child Development Center.
• Assist and direct attention as needed to children.
• Distribute snacks and reinforce safety practices in restrooms.
• Facilitate play and supervise small group learning.
• Adhere to MSDE OCC licensing safety procedures.
• Attend staff meetings and participate when possible.
• Perform other duties including housekeeping, food prep, nap help and teacher prep.
