Job summary

SAMIR, a leading fintech platform, seeks a Head of IT in Jakarta to oversee software development, product management, network and security, and data management. You will ensure availability, security, and continuous improvement of IT systems while collaborating with Operations to optimize processes.

The role leads Development, Product, Network & Security, Risk and Data teams; requires 9–10 years in a similar role, strong technical and leadership skills, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 9–10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in fintech.
• Strong technical skills across programming languages, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong leadership with ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Strong POJK knowledge and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Development, Product, Network & Security, and Data teams.
• Define and execute IT strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure availability, scalability, security, and reliability of applications and data platforms.
• Partner with Operations to develop tech solutions that improve processes.
• Oversee software development, product delivery, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data governance.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, security standards, and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in security.
• Manage IT vendors, budgets, licensing, and third-party services.
• Establish KPIs and SLAs; drive continuous improvement across IT.
