confidential is seeking a senior hospital finance leader to shape the organization's financial strategy, planning, and governance. You will partner with the CEO and executive team to drive sustainable performance and operational efficiency while supporting high-quality healthcare delivery.

You will bring deep hospital finance experience, including budgeting, revenue cycle management, cost control, and capital investments, with a proven ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in Finance with senior leadership experience.
  • Hospital/healthcare industry experience mandatory, preferably in a private hospital or hospital group.
  • Strong understanding of hospital finance operations, budgeting, revenue cycle, cost management, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic financial, budgeting, investment, and tax recommendations for the CEO and executive team.
  • Lead FP&A including budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor profitability by hospital department and service line to identify growth and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Provide financial analyses and feasibility studies for expansions, new services, and equipment investments.
  • Lead CAPEX planning and prioritize investments in equipment, facilities, technology, and infrastructure.
  • Oversee cash flow, treasury, working capital, and internal controls.
  • Manage revenue cycle related to BPJS, insurers, corporate clients, and self-pay.
  • Evaluate cost structures across services (medical, pharmacy, labs, imaging, manpower, doctor fees).
  • Create financial performance indicators and management reporting for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure strong governance, risk management, and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and healthcare regulations.

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the hospital’s overall financial strategy, planning, analysis, reporting, and financial governance. This role will work closely with the CEO and executive management team to drive sustainable financial performance, operational efficiency, and long-term business growth while supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

The candidate must have a strong background in hospital or healthcare finance, with a solid understanding of hospital revenue streams, cost structures, revenue cycle management, investment planning, financial controls, and healthcare-related financial processes.

Job Description
  • Develop and provide strategic financial, budgeting, investment, and tax recommendations to the CEO and executive management team.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including annual budgeting, forecasting, financial performance monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and evaluate hospital profitability across departments, business units, and service lines to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Provide financial analysis and feasibility studies for hospital expansion, new healthcare services, medical equipment investments, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Lead CAPEX planning and ensure appropriate financial evaluation and prioritization of investments in medical equipment, facilities, technology, and infrastructure.
  • Oversee cash flow, treasury, working capital, funding requirements, and overall financial controls.
  • Monitor and optimize the hospital revenue cycle, including financial processes related to BPJS, insurance providers, corporate clients, and self-pay patients.
  • Evaluate hospital cost structures, including medical services, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, manpower, doctor remuneration/fees, and other operational expenses.
  • Develop financial performance indicators and management reporting to provide clear visibility of revenue, profitability, costs, and operational performance.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and financial performance reports for executive management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure strong financial governance, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation requirements, financial regulations, and relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, financial institutions, insurance partners, and other relevant external stakeholders.
  • Act as a strategic financial partner to the CEO and executive management team by translating financial data into actionable business recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in Finance, with proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Hospital/healthcare industry experience is mandatory, preferably within a private hospital or hospital group.
  • Strong understanding of hospital financial operations, budgeting, revenue cycle management, cost management, and financial performance analysis.
  • Good understanding of hospital revenue structures, including BPJS, insurance reimbursement, corporate accounts, and self-pay patients.
  • Experience in hospital CAPEX planning, investment analysis, service-line profitability, and cost optimization is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate financial data into business recommendations.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with senior and executive management.
  • CPA, CA, or other relevant professional certification is an advantage.
