Job summary

BVR GROUP ASIA, based in Bali, Indonesia, seeks an experienced Chief Accountant to lead all accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and drive robust financial reporting and controls. The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a proactive policy-forward mindset.

The ideal candidate will manage bookkeeping, tax, and reporting, collaborate with external auditors, and optimize accounting processes to support strategic business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience as Chief Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting and audit processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Accurate systems preferred).
• Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
• Ability to develop and implement financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including bookkeeping, tax, and financial reporting
• Prepare accurate monthly/quarterly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax laws
• Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets
