PT.Pratama Abadi Industri in Serpong, South Tangerang, Indonesia, seeks a Chemical Engineer to oversee chemical usage in shoe production and drive process improvements. You will evaluate bonding performance, run trials for new products, and manage internal chemical audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, 3–5 years of relevant experience in footwear manufacturing, and fluent English.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3–5 years of chemical engineering experience in footwear or related manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of adhesive/paint technology, labs, and process tools.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating projects.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written).
• Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills.
• Health, Safety & Work Environment culture awareness.
• Willing to be placed in Serpong, South Tangerang.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in chemical engineering within the footwear or related manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of adhesive/paint technology, testing laboratories, and chemical engineering tools used in footwear production
• Experienced in team supervision and project coordination
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
• Have awareness of Health, Safety & Work Environment culture as a top priority
• Willing to be placed in Serpong, South Tangerang
