Job summary

PT. Pratama Abadi Industri, established as a foreign-invested footwear manufacturer for the NIKE brand in Indonesia, is seeking an Organizational Development and Recruitment Specialist to oversee chemical usage in shoe production.

The role focuses on leading process improvements, evaluating bonding performance, and coordinating tests and trials for new products. The position requires a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering/Ceramics and 3–5 years in chemical engineering within footwear

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in chemical engineering within footwear manufacturing.
• Knowledge of adhesive/paint technology, testing laboratories, and chemical engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee chemical usage in shoe production.

Job description

Responsible for overseeing and controlling chemical usage in shoe production, leading chemical process improvements, evaluating bonding performance, conducting tests and trials for new products, and managing chemical internal audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Requirements

• - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
• - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in chemical engineering within the footwear or related manufacturing industry
• - Strong knowledge of adhesive/paint technology, testing laboratories, and chemical engineering tools used in footwear production
• - Experienced in team supervision and project coordination
• - Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• - Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
• - Have awareness of Health, Safety & Work Environment culture as a top priority
• - Willing to be placed in Serpong, South Tangerang
