Job summary

Shipping company in Jakarta is seeking a motivated Chartering Staff to join our growing international shipping and logistics team. You will learn, apply, and develop in chartering and daily vessel operations while building a strong client network and supporting operations.

You will maintain relationships with existing clients, pursue new accounts, travel abroad for meetings, and collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in shipping, maritime logistics, or chartering (fresh graduates with a good command of English/ Mandarin are welcome).
• Strong networking ability and willingness to bring and leverage existing client data/contacts.
• Willingness to travel abroad for business trips and international assignments.
• Excellent English communication; Mandarin or other languages is a plus.

About

1. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in shipping, maritime logistics, or chartering (fresh graduates with a good command of English/ Mandarin are also welcome to apply).

2. Possess a strong network, database, or willingness to bring and leverage existing client data/ contacts from previous experience.

3. Willingness to travel abroad for business trips, client meetings, or international assignments as required by the company.

4. Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in English (proficiency in Mandarin/ other languages is a plus).
