Job summary

University of Central Florida is seeking a Plumber I to support campus facilities maintenance on the main campus. The role focuses on preventive and corrective plumbing work, including installation, testing, and repair of water, gas, air, and sewer systems.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing scheduled PM/PDM tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and campus regulations. The position offers a day-shift schedule and opportunities to collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of plumbing trades, tools, materials and sequencing for maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Install, test, and repair plumbing components in bathrooms, labs, and kitchens.
• Document work orders with accurate labor hours and notes.
