Job summary

Daribu Bakery is seeking a QC Baker to professionally manage the quality and consistency of our bakery products. This role goes beyond meeting production targets, continuously monitoring taste, texture, shape, and overall quality throughout the production process.

Key duties include inspecting product quality, ensuring recipes and SOPs are followed, identifying defects, and implementing improvements while maintaining hygiene and food safety in the production area.

• Inspect the quality of produced bakery products
• Check the quality of the production process, including mixing, fermentation, shaping, and baking

• Ensure that bakers accurately follow recipes and production SOPs
• Check product quality and consistency for each production batch
• Report quality issues to management
• Identify the causes of recurring quality problems and implement improvements
• Monitor hygiene and food safety standards in the production area
• Conduct regular quality checks on products available for sale during business hours

Requirements

Sufficient understanding of bakery production processes

Ability to follow recipes and SOPs accurately

Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety

Ability to communicate effectively with the production team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in bakery QC or quality control

Experience working in a professional bakery or bakery production facility
