Job summary

APP Group is seeking a translator/interpreter to bridge Mandarin and English/Indonesian communications in a global finance environment. You will translate documents, provide real-time interpretation during meetings, and help local and expatriate teams communicate effectively across functions.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, accuracy, and collaboration within a multicultural setting. On-site placement in Perawang, Riau, Indonesia is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any major.
• HSK Level 4 certification or higher.
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written).
• Good communication in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Translate business documents, reports, emails, and other materials between Mandarin and English/Indonesian.
• Provide interpretation support during meetings and daily communications with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication between local employees and Mandarin-speaking expatriates across functions.
• Support cross-functional teams by ensuring smooth communication in operational and administrative activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy of translated information.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to translation and communication support.
• Gain exposure to multicultural work environments by collaborating with local and international teams.
