Job summary

PHC Indonesia is seeking a Business Development Supervisor to drive external ODM/OEM manufacturing partnerships and lead end-to-end deal progress. You will manage new-client acquisition, oversee the sales pipeline, and nurture key-client relationships across medical device and related sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Engineering background preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English (mandatory).
• Proven hands-on experience in business development / sales, including team management, client acquisition and proposal development; solid understanding of manufacturing & contract-export sectors.
• Able to understand manufacturing processes and articulate plant production strengths to potential partners.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-management competencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Business Development team to deliver agreed business targets.
• Lead client acquisition: lead generation, opportunity identification and full-cycle pipeline management for external manufacturing / ODM-OEM projects.
• Build and sustain solid relationships with existing and prospective external clients & manufacturing partners.
• Develop tailored business proposals aligned with client needs and commercial opportunities, highlighting site manufacturing strengths.
• Support commercial negotiations and ensure smooth deal execution for manufacturing outsourcing projects.
• Monitor team performance, track sales activities and BD progress, and prepare regular reporting.
• Carry out market research and generate insights to inform business development strategies for contract-manufacturing business.
• Collaborate with internal production, quality and engineering functions to ensure successful delivery of business opportunities.
• Lead drafting, roll-out and enforcement of departmental SOPs and work instructions; streamline workflows to improve team efficiency.

Role Summary

You will also lead SOP formulation and workflow optimisation for the department, conduct market intelligence research and cross-functional collaboration to support business growth.

Requirements
