Job summary

Rukita in Jakarta is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support the growth of our property-partner network. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with property owners, and help expand our affordable, community-driven co-living spaces across urban Indonesia.

Reporting to the Business Development Area Leader, this role offers growth opportunities, a fast-paced startup environment, and frequent travel to engage with partners and close deals.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, real estate or related fields.
• Startup experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fast-paced and adaptable in a startup environment.
• Proactive mindset and business sense.
• Based in Jakarta or familiar with the area.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and source potential properties for various Rukita product.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing property owners.
• Promote the Rukita co-living strategy to property owners to make better living solutions in Indonesia.
• Arrange and conduct B2B business negotiations and legal documentation process.

About the Role

Rukita transforms spaces into affordable community-driven living solutions in urban areas. Rukita is looking for a Business Development Specialist & Business Development Manager to support our Business Development team in obtaining new leads and maintaining relationships with Property Owners, Managers, and Caretakers. As a key area of the business, this position will give you a big opportunity for growth and you will also be required to be constantly on the move. The role will report to our Business Development Area Leader. This position will be placed in Jakarta.
