Lhoopa is a fast-scaling proptech company transforming affordable housing across Southeast Asia through technology-driven operations. Our model leverages a decentralized ecosystem of brokers, contractors, and local partners to acquire, renovate, and sell affordable homes efficiently and at scale.
As a Business Development / Acquisition Manager (Developer Financing), you will own the front end of Lhoopa’s developer financing pipeline, generating, qualifying, and converting inbound and outbound leads from property developers into well-documented files ready for credit assessment. You will be the developer’s first point of contact and remain their relationship owner through signing.
Manage inbound leads from digital campaigns (Meta ads, website, WhatsApp) and referrals: respond within SLA, connect with decision-makers, and qualify each opportunity.
Build an outbound pipeline of mid-size developers, with a focus on social and affordable housing, through developer associations (REI, APERSI, HIMPERRA), bank partners such as BTN branches, brokers, contractors, and notaries.
Run structured qualification meetings covering project stage, funding gap, unit count, buyer availability and payment path (cash vs. KPR), contractor status, bank stance, land ownership, and proposed collateral.
Collect initial corporate, project, and buyer documents and hand complete files to the Credit team at Pre-Screen; present approved investment proposals to developers alongside Credit.
Keep the CRM and developer pipeline up to date at every funnel stage (Raw, Contacted, Connected, Qualified, Meeting Held, Pre-Screen) and report weekly on volumes, conversion, and blockers.
Gather market intelligence on developer needs, pricing, and competing funding sources, and help refine Lhoopa’s offer, qualification questions, and sales playbook, including for regional hubs.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Property/Real Estate, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or relationship management with property developers, for example in SME or commercial banking, fintech or multifinance lending, developer land acquisition or sales, or property agencies.
Established network among Indonesian property developers, developer associations, and housing-finance banks; experience with subsidized (FLPP) housing is a strong plus.
Working understanding of developer economics and financing basics: construction cost, unit sales and KPR flows, collateral, and key ratios such as LTV and LTC.
Disciplined pipeline management using a CRM or structured trackers; comfortable with targets, SLAs, and frequent travel to meet developers across Indonesia.
Persuasive and trustworthy communicator with strong negotiation skills, high integrity, and fluent Bahasa Indonesia and professional English.
A steady flow of qualified developer opportunities that meets monthly pipeline targets.
Files handed to Credit are complete and well qualified, so a high share pass Pre-Screen and IC.
Leads are handled within SLA, and the CRM gives management an accurate, real-time view of the funnel.
Developers experience Lhoopa as responsive and professional, and become repeat clients and referrers.
