Job summary

MBN Consulting is seeking a Business Consultant at associate/junior level to translate abstract business ideas into high-value analyses and deliverables. You will develop decks, conduct market and financial analysis, and manage project timelines with an AI-enabled workflow.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years in management/strategy consulting, plus fluent Indonesian and English. You will interact with clients in pre-sales meetings and draft proposals and TOR/SOWs.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years in Management/Strategy/Business Consulting (prefer alumni from major firms).
• AI-native mindset with proficiency in AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for productivity.
• Strong structured thinking, analytical skills, and ownership.
• Fluent Indonesian and English in communication and business writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop professional consulting decks with storyline, executive summary, and data visualisation according to market standards.
• Prepare first draft decks and refine narrative structure with speed and high quality.
• Conduct fact-checking and quality assurance on all drafts before presentation to Project Lead or Client.
• Perform desktop research, market research, and competitor benchmarking to understand client industry dynamics.
• Execute basic financial and business analysis to evaluate business model feasibility.
• Prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoM) including decision points, responsible parties, deadlines, and next action steps.
• Monitor action plan progress, project timelines, and conduct regular follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.
• Interact professionally with management and clients in coordination meetings and pre-sales sessions.
• Draft Terms of Reference (TOR), Scope of Work (SOW), technical proposals, and service quotations.
• Map client needs from pre-sales discussions into draft commercial solution proposals.
• Use AI Tools for meeting summaries, brainstorming, problem statement structuring, proofreading, and deck drafting.
• Apply effective prompting techniques to increase work speed without compromising consulting framework standards.

You will work at a fast pace, leveraging AI technology to multiply productivity while maintaining consulting rigor.

About you

Minimum S1 degree from a reputable university in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field

Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in Management / Strategy / Business Consulting (preferred: alumni from McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, Big 4 Consulting (PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG), ABeam, or similar consulting firms)

AI-native mindset with proficiency in AI Tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) as a productivity multiplier for research, synthesis, deck drafting, data analysis, and MoM preparation

Strong structured thinking, analytical skills, detail-oriented approach, and high sense of ownership

Solid foundation in consulting frameworks and strong project management expertise in handling consulting projects

Fluent communication, presentation, and business writing skills in Indonesian and English

Proficient in MS PowerPoint / Google Slides (deck formatting) and MS Excel (basic data analysis)

Willing to participate in Mini Case / Practical Test (60–90 minutes) as part of the selection process
