Job summary

L'Oréal in Indonesia seeks a Business Strategy & Planning (BSP) Manager to drive the monthly BU commercial planning process and align cross-functional teams around profitable growth.

You will lead investments optimization, partner with Channel Sales, Finance, CBD, RGM and Operations, and contribute to product launch sizing for M+3 and the full year. Strong FMCG experience, analytics, Excel, and stakeholder management are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years in FMCG at an MNC with cross-functional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; translate data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate, align stakeholders and influence effectively.
• Strong business and financial acumen; structured planning approach.
• Fluent in English; Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly Bottom Up commercial planning with channel sales and other functions.

A day in the life as a Business Strategy & Planning (BSP) Manager:

You will...

• Drive and execute the monthly Bottom Up (BU) commercial planning process, collaborating closely with the channel sales team and other functions to support sustainable and profitable growth
• Support the optimization of Minorations, value-focused investment prioritization based on impact/ROI
• Act as a key business partner to Channel Sales, Finance, Category Business Development, RGM, Operations & Supply chain teams
• Facilitate planning governance, helping maintain robust processes and tools to improve planning accuracy & decision-making process
• Contribute to new product launch sizing for M+3 and Full year
• Track and provide Best Estimate shopper investment spending

You have....

• Proven experience in Sales/Commercial, trade marketing, category, or channel management with a minimum of 5 to 8 years in FMCG at an MNC company, with experience working with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for planning
• Ability to collaborate constructively, drive alignment, good stakeholder management & influencing skills
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Structured, disciplined and detail-oriented planning approach
• Mature, confident and collaborative working style
• High integrity, resilience and adaptability
• Fluent in English (spoken & written) and proficiency in Excel
