Job summary

Academy is a creator-led media company building finance, business and marketing content for a global audience. We need a proactive partnerships lead to own brand partnerships end to end, finding and closing deals, and creating processes and tools to manage them.

You'll work with our founders, strategist, project managers and production team, often with limited direction, so you need to push projects forward and keep partners happy for repeat business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in brand partnerships, influencer or creator marketing, business development or a similar role.
• Track record of sourcing and closing deals through your own outreach.
• Experience managing partnerships end to end, from pitch to payment.
• Excellent written English; comfortable communicating with US-based brands.
• Highly organized with strong contract and admin skills.
• Self-directed, proactive, and able to work with limited direction.
• Familiar with CRMs, Notion and Google Sheets for building simple systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and run the partnerships pipeline: research brands, run cold outreach, and convert affiliates to paid partnerships.
• Create and maintain media kits and partnership packages.
• Negotiate deals and manage contracts, ensuring clear terms and timelines.
• Hand signed deals to production and track delivery to meet commitments.
• Own admin tasks: briefs, checklists, invoices, and partner records.
• Develop a partnerships dashboard or CRM to track status, contracts, and payments.
• Nurture long-term partner relationships to turn one-off deals into retainers.
• Report results and help set partnership goals aligning with company goals.
