Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of beauty and care product lines across multiple distribution sites within the region.
• Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and supply chain coordination to ensure product availability and minimise wastage.
• Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics including sales, efficiency and profitability across all sites.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and increase revenue.
• Lead and supervise site managers and operational staff, providing guidance, training and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards across locations.
• Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
• Identify opportunities for business improvement and innovation within beauty and care operations.
• Prepare regular reports on operational performance and present findings to senior management.

About the role

We are seeking a Beauty & Care Operations Manager to join our team on a contract basis. This is a strategic position responsible for overseeing the operations of our beauty and care product lines across multiple sites within our distribution network. You will play a crucial role in ensuring consistent service delivery, operational excellence, and profitability across all designated locations. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven professional who can manage complex multi-site operations whilst maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of beauty and care product lines across multiple distribution sites within the region
• Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and supply chain coordination to ensure product availability and minimise wastage
• Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics, including sales data, efficiency indicators, and profitability across all managed sites
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance revenue generation
• Lead and supervise site managers and operational staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards across all locations
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal departments
• Identify opportunities for business improvement and innovation within beauty and care operations
• Prepare regular reports on operational performance and present findings to senior management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in multi-site operations management, preferably within retail, consumer products, or distribution sectors
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics operations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff across multiple locations
• Demonstrated ability to analyse operational data and make data-driven decisions to improve business performance
• Experience in the beauty, care, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Problem-solving abilities and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with inventory management or operational software systems
• Fluency in Indonesian and English is required; additional regional languages are advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or related field is preferred
