Job description

Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, beers, spirits, juices, coffee, and other beverages according to standard recipes.

Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, portion, and quality.

Prepare garnishes and other bar ingredients before service.

Follow proper procedures for handling and serving alcoholic beverages.

Guest Service

Greet and serve guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.

Take beverage orders accurately and provide recommendations when required.

Respond to guest requests, questions, and complaints professionally.

Maintain good communication with guests and other F&B team members.

Bar Operations

Set up the bar before operation and ensure all required items are available.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the shift.

Clean and properly store glasses, bar tools, equipment, and utensils.

Ensure all bar equipment is used and maintained properly.

Stock & Inventory Control

Monitor beverage stock, garnishes, and other bar supplies.

Assist with daily stock checking and inventory.

Follow proper procedures for issuing and storing alcoholic beverages.

Report shortages, breakages, or damaged products to the supervisor.

Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and food safety.

Follow hotel standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety.

Ensure all beverages and ingredients are stored at the appropriate temperature and condition.

Handle glassware, bottles, and bar equipment safely.

Closing Duties

Clean and organize the bar area after service.

Check and secure beverage stock and equipment.

Dispose of waste properly.

Ensure the bar is properly prepared for the next operation.
