Job summary

Four Seasons Bali Resort at Jimbaran Bay is seeking a Bartender to greet guests promptly and provide courteous beverage service with a strong knowledge of drinks. You will follow Four Seasons standards, work with the bar team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements include at least one year of bartending experience, excellent English skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Micros system knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum of one year experience as Bartender.
Strong beverage knowledge regarding beer, wine and liquor.
Excellent communication and organizational skills in English.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve wines, spirits, and mixed drinks per Four Seasons recipes.
Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests.
Describe items' origin, taste, and preparation; maintain knowledge of liquors and wines.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond to concerns.
Close guest checks and process payments accurately.
Work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors.

About the role:
The Bartender assures each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, and graciously with eye contact, and a smile. The Bartender provides hotel guests and servers with a quick and efficient beverage service following Four Seasons service standards. The Bartender has a complete knowledge of all products served at the bar and ensure that all guests receive the highest level of service.

What you will do:

Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.

Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests.

Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.

Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

Properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.

Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

What you bring:

Minimum of one year experience as Bartender.

Strong beverage knowledge regarding beer, wine and liquor is required.

Excellent communication and organization skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language. Knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.
