Job summary

PT. LYD Management Bali operates Bokashi Berawa in North Kuta, Bali. The Barista Daily Worker role supports the beverage operation, crafting espresso and specialty drinks while delivering friendly service in a busy hospitality venue.

You will work full-time, with duties across order taking, beverage preparation, equipment upkeep and cash handling, contributing to guest satisfaction and a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar beverage preparation role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and professional attitude.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as required.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Food safety and hygiene certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Fluency in English and Indonesian is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs and specialty coffees to the highest standards
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and other coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness
• Take customer orders efficiently and accurately, remembering preferences and providing personalised recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including regular cleaning of equipment and restocking of supplies
• Manage cash registers and process payments accurately and securely
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing information about menu items and brewing methods
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain compliance with food preparation standards
• Assist with inventory management and notify management of stock requirements
