Job summary

PT Expat Roasters Indonesia is seeking a service-focused cafe team member in Bali. You will inform customers about products, educate on coffee and brewing methods, take orders and payments, and prepare beverages and foods. You will also handle retail displays, promotions, and daily sales reporting.

You will calibrate and maintain espresso machines and grinders, operate the POS system, and ensure high hospitality standards while working in a fast-paced, energetic team.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School or equivalent.
• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
• Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership and decision making skills.
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Informs new or seasonal products to customers.
• Educate customers of coffee and brewing methods.
• Receive customers' orders and payment.
• Prepare ordered beverages and foods.
• Serve ordered items to customers.
• Offer retail products and ongoing promotions.
• Prepare, calibrate, maintain, and control the coffee machines and grinders, and POS machine.
• Provide daily sales report.
• Upsells and cross-sells various menu items.
• Display retail products according to FIFO order.
• Receive delivered supplies and verify that the correct items and quantities have been delivered.
• Clean all cafe area (i.e. bar, seating area, restroom, parking, etc.).
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
