Job summary

Expat Roasters in Bali seeks a friendly cafe attendant to greet customers, take orders, and prepare beverages and foods to standard. You will educate customers about coffee and brewing methods, Upsell products, and ensure smooth operation of the cafe floor and POS system.

The ideal candidate has minimum high school education, strong listening and communication skills, and the ability to work fast-paced hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school or equivalent.
• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
• Willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership and decision making skills.
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inform customers about new or seasonal products.
• Educate customers on coffee and brewing methods.
• Receive customers' orders and payment.
• Prepare ordered beverages and foods.
• Serve ordered items to customers.
• Upsell and cross-sell menu items.
• Display retail products according to FIFO order.
• Prepare, calibrate, maintain, and control the coffee machines and POS machine.
• Provide daily sales report.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and quality controls.
