Job summary

Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to lead the banquet service team and ensure events are delivered to hotel standards. You will coordinate with kitchen, sales, and other departments to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in banquet or F&B, with strong leadership and communication skills, and can work extended hours based on event requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of banquet or F&B operations experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Banquet Department.
• Ensure all banquet functions are set up and operated according to the BEO and hotel standards.
• Review event requirements, function sheets, menus, guest numbers, timing, and room setup.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and communicate event details and service standards to the banquet team.
• Supervise the setup of tables, chairs, linens, tableware, buffet stations, staging, and other event requirements.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Event, Sales, F&B, Stewarding, Engineering and other departments for smooth event execution.
• Monitor food and beverage service throughout the event and ensure timely, professional service.
