Job summary

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Non-Management position in the Labuan Bajo kitchen. Prepare meals, regulate oven temperatures, thaw and portion foods, and ensure quality and presentation according to recipes and standards.

Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees; maintain safety and professional appearance. Maintain confidentiality and uphold company policies while delivering exceptional service to guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing meals according to recipes and standards.
• Ability to regulate oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures.
• Strong understanding of portioning, presentation, and garnishing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality of prepared items.
• Inform Chef of excess items and support daily specials.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching kitchen staff.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards to management.
• Ensure professional appearance and confidentiality of information.
• Communicate clearly with team and guests.
