Job summary

Labuan Bajo Luxury Boutique Resort seeks an accomplished Executive Chef to lead the culinary team, oversee all kitchen operations, and craft exceptional dining experiences that reflect the property's luxury positioning.

Requirements include 2+ years as Executive Chef in a 5-star luxury hotel or resort, strong luxury hospitality background in Indonesia or Southeast Asia, Indonesian culinary expertise, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

Executive Chef experience in a 5-star luxury hotel or resort, min 2 years.
Luxury hospitality brands experience in Indonesia/Southeast Asia.
Indonesian culinary expertise with luxury guest expectations.
Leadership of multi-outlet culinary operations including restaurants, bars, room service, banquets.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, creativity, and presentation across all dining venues.
Develop innovative menus reflecting luxury positioning and market trends.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
Drive financial performance by managing food costs, labor, budgeting, and waste.
Recruit, mentor, and develop the culinary team to foster excellence.
Collaborate with F&B leadership to enhance guest dining experiences.
Ensure efficient kitchen operations through planning, inventory, procurement, and equipment maintenance.
Build strong supplier relationships for premium ingredients.
Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvements.
Support business objectives with innovative culinary experiences.
