Job summary

John Galt Services seeks a full-time Technical Operations Specialist to own day-to-day tech operations for a US customer building a national cash-back platform with 20,000+ merchants. You’ll write repeatable procedures, onboard merchants, configure stores, verify transactions, and respond to incidents from Bali.

You must be fluent in English, highly detail-oriented, and self-directed. This on-site role in Kerobokan, Bali requires a disciplined, proactive operator who thrives in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Detail-oriented and self-directed with proactive problem-solving.
• Technically literate, able to read configurations and spot anomalies.
• Strong documentation skills to create clear runbooks and procedures.
• Small-team mindset with comfort working in ambiguity.
• Disciplined approach: track work, verify configurations, and avoid shortcuts.
• Bachelor degree required.
• Willing to work late hours and be based in Bali or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Process development: Build and maintain operational runbooks for onboarding, configuration, and incident response.
• Operational execution: Ingest merchants, configure stores, verify transactions, investigate anomalies with discipline.
• Operational tracking: Create Jira tickets and track delivery across teams.
• Quality assurance: Verify configurations, ensure transaction flow, catch edge cases before incidents.
