Ideal candidates have 3+ years in backend development, strong API knowledge, and a willingness to adopt new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional Backend Engineer experience.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Good understanding of databases, authentication, and authorization concepts.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow established software development standards.
• Experience in financial services is a strong advantage.
• Eager to learn new technologies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and/or gRPC-based services.
• Develop and maintain applications using relational and non-relational databases.
• Translate requirements into scalable back-end solutions.
• Collaborate with Front End Engineers, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders.
• Implement API security, authentication, and authorization.
• Ensure data and application security, reliability, and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Support testing, deployment, and post-deployment activities.
• Contribute to process and architecture improvements.
