Job summary

PT Adecco Personnel Indonesia is seeking a Backend Engineer (Java/Golang) to design, develop, and maintain robust back-end services and databases for a Financial Service platform. The role emphasizes performance, security, reliability, and scalability to support business requirements.

The candidate will implement secure APIs, work with microservices, and collaborate with Front End Engineers, QA, DevOps, and Business Analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional back-end experience.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Good understanding of databases, authentication, and authorization concepts.
• Ability to work in a team and follow software development standards.
• Experience in financial services is a strong advantage.
• Open to learning new technologies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and/or gRPC-based services.
• Develop and maintain PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
• Ensure API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Collaborate with FE engineers, BA, QA, DevOps and other stakeholders.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Support testing, deployment, and post-deployment activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and architecture.
