Job summary

Agoda is seeking an experienced backend/data engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and fintech platforms. You will work across the full software lifecycle, from business requirements and technology choices to testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building high-performance applications in production environments.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and real-time processing frameworks (Spark).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data architecture.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Think and own the full lifecycle of our products from requirements to CI/CD and monitoring.
• Design, develop and maintain fintech platforms and data pipelines.
