Job summary

PT Omron Electronics in Jakarta is seeking a skilled sales engineer to drive revenue in the automotive sector. The role requires deep knowledge of production processes, automation, sensors, vision, motion, and robotics, plus a national or strategic account focus.

You will manage key customer relationships, present tailored Omron solutions, and coordinate bids and demonstrations to help customers modernize their manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechatronic engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years experience in automotive industry and understanding of production processes.
• Familiar with automation systems, sensors, vision, motion and robotics.
• Possessed automotive OEM customer network.
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell Omron products to achieve revenue and targets.
• Understand automotive production processes and market trends.
• Propose application solutions from Omron products.
• Account management for national or strategic customers.
• Manage existing national/strategic accounts through sales cycle.
• Serve as primary contact between customers and organization.
• Promote new product offerings and solutions.
• Coordinate bid documents and proposals.
• Demonstrate products and conduct proofs of concept.
