Job summary

Jebsen & Jessen Pte Ltd. is seeking a senior sales engineer in Jakarta to drive revenue by selling automation and material handling solutions. You will identify customers, craft technical proposals, and manage orders from quotation to delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of similar sales/engineering experience.
• Strong background in Automation (product or industry).
• Experience in Lifting/Material Handling products.
• Good presentation and communication skills; able to work independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office and PLC literacy.
• Good English skills (spoken and written).
• CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify customers through leads and cold calls; create demand and propose product solutions.
• Prepare quotations and tenders; negotiate terms and ensure compliance with policies.
• Ensure project specs are completed for each order to facilitate handover to Project Dept.
• Monitor ongoing orders and ensure timely delivery per customer specs.
• Update Project Management and MIS databases for project details.
• Use CRM tools to monitor and report monthly sales data and manage targets.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends and potential needs.
• Keep product updates, promotional materials, and competitor activities up to date.
• Participate in marketing events, seminars, and presentations to support sales.
• Visit customers periodically to maintain long-term satisfaction with products and services.
• Coordinate with Finance to monitor AR and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
