Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd is seeking a driven Operations Transformation professional to join the COO Office at the Jakarta Head Office. The role focuses on AI enablement and the deployment of intelligent automation to optimize banking operations and workflows.

You will collaborate with technology and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions, monitor performance, and drive initiatives that increase Straight-Through Processing (STP) while reducing manual touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years in Banking Operations, Strategy, or Transformation roles.
• Technical Skills: Generative AI tools or Intelligent Automation (RPA/OCR) is a distinct advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to distill complex problems into structured solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in fast-paced transformation environments.

Responsibilities

• Support exploration, monitoring development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of AI-powered tools such as document extraction, intent identification, and process automations.

• Monitor efficacy of automated tools and refine logic to improve accuracy and throughput.

Key Responsibilities

1. Innovation & AI Enablement

• Support the exploration, monitoring the development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of AI-powered operational tools (e.g., document extraction, intent identification, and process automations).
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to ensure AI solutions are integrated seamlessly into existing operational workflows.
• Monitor the efficacy of automated tools and refine logic/parameters to improve accuracy and throughput.

1. Operational Transformation & Innovation

• Support the exploration and identification of new initiatives aimed at optimizing operational workflows, specifically focusing on increasing Straight-Through Processing (STP) rates.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual touchpoints through digital adoption and process re-engineering.
• Conduct feasibility studies for emerging digital solutions, balancing operational risk with the potential for increased efficiency and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional “squads” to design and prototype scalable, empathy-driven solutions that transition operations from traditional manual processing to digital-first models.

Required Qualifications
