Job summary

SG-EDTS in Central Jakarta, Indonesia, is hiring a fresh graduate for a hands-on QA role. You will learn and apply testing practices, create and execute test cases, and collaborate with developers and product teams to improve product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/IT or related field.
• GPA 3.0 out of 4.0 required.
• Fresh Graduate or up to 2 years of experience.
• Strong interest in software quality and understanding how technology works.
• Good logical and analytical thinking with attention to detail.
• Able to break down problems into multiple scenarios and edge cases.
• Basic understanding of software testing and SDLC.
• Familiarity with SQL/database concepts.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is a plus.
• Familiarity with QA automation concepts and test automation practices.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress is a plus.
• Familiarity with QA/test management tools like JIRA, TestRail is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain problems clearly.
• Available for 2 years commitment.
• On-site at Wisma 46, Central Jakarta.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

• Learn and apply software testing practices to ensure applications work as intended and meet business requirements
• Understand product requirements and identify potential risks, edge cases, and scenarios that may impact product quality
• Create and execute test cases across different product features and user flows
• Investigate issues, identify potential root causes, and provide clear information to help the development team resolve defects
• Document and track bugs with clear steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results
• Perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders throughout the development process
• Gain hands‑on experience with QA tools, testing methodologies, API testing, and database validation
• Gradually develop the ability to identify quality risks and recommend improvements to the testing process
• Work on real‑world projects and continuously improve your QA skills through structured mentorship and feedback

Person We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
• Minimum GPA 3.0 out of 4.0
• Fresh Graduate or maximum 2 years of working experience
• Have a strong interest in software quality and understanding how technology works
• Good logical and analytical thinking, with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable breaking down a problem into different scenarios and identifying possible edge cases
• Basic understanding of software testing and SDLC
• Familiar with basic SQL/database concepts
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is a plus
• Basic knowledge of QA automation testing concepts and test automation practices
• Familiarity with automation testing tools or frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools is a plus
