Job summary

PT AJAIB TTX Solusi (jakarta) is seeking a senior QA engineer to design, execute, and maintain test cases for frontend, backend and API testing in an investment banking environment. The role involves both manual and automated testing, and mentoring junior QA engineers in a hybrid setup based in South Jakarta.

You will validate REST APIs with Postman, review specifications, and help shape QA strategy and processes across the SDLC to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of QA/testing experience in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform end-to-end testing across frontend, backend, API, integration, regression, and UAT.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts/frameworks where applicable, while performing manual testing for exploratory, functional, or business validation.
• Validate REST APIs using Postman and ensure data consistency across systems.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through to resolution with developers and stakeholders.
• Review functional specifications and provide early feedback to improve product quality, testability, and QA coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ensure software releases meet quality standards, particularly for applications within the investment banking domain.
• Contribute to QA strategy, test planning, and continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices within the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant QA/testing experience.
• Preferably has mixed experience in both Manual and Automation Testing, with the ability to work across both approaches depending on testing needs.
• Proven experience testing applications in the Investment Banking industry.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT support.
• Hands-on experience with Test Automation, including developing, maintaining, or executing automated test scripts/frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Frontend and Backend Testing.
• Proficient in Postman for API testing and validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding of SDLC, defect lifecycle, QA methodologies, and testing best practices.
• Professional working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Willing to work in a hybrid arrangement based in South Jakarta.
