Job summary

EDTS Cyber, LLC is seeking a junior QA tester in Indonesia to help ensure software quality across web and API features within a local team.

You will create and run test cases, report defects with steps to reproduce, and collaborate with developers, PMs, and designers to improve product quality. Fresh graduates are welcome; two-year commitment required, with on-site work at Wisma 46, Central Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Fresh Graduate or maximum 2 years of working experience.
• Have a strong interest in software quality and understanding how technology works.
• Good logical and analytical thinking, with strong attention to detail.
• Familiar with API testing tools such as Postman is a plus.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools or frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar QA/test management tools is a plus.
• Available for 2 years commitment
• Full WFO at Wisma 46, Central Jakarta

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply software testing practices to ensure applications work as intended and meet business requirements.
• Understand product requirements and identify potential risks, edge cases, and scenarios that may impact product quality.
• Create and execute test cases across different product features and user flows.
• Investigate issues, identify potential root causes, and provide clear information to help the development team resolve defects.
• Document and track bugs with clear steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
• Perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Gain hands-on experience with QA tools, testing methodologies, API testing, and database validation.
• Gradually develop the ability to identify quality risks and recommend improvements to the testing process.
• Work on real-world projects and continuously improve your QA skills through structured mentorship and feedback.

Person We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
• Minimum GPA 3.0 out of 4.0
• Fresh Graduate or maximum 2 years of working experience
• Have a strong interest in software quality and understanding how technology works
• Good logical and analytical thinking, with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable breaking down a problem into different scenarios and identifying possible edge cases
• Basic understanding of software testing and SDLC
• Familiar with basic SQL/database concepts
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is a plus
• Basic knowledge of QA automation testing concepts and test automation practicesFamiliarity with automation testing tools or frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools is a plus
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar QA/test management tools is a plus
• Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain problems, discuss findings, and work effectively with different teams
