Job summary

Ukirama in Jakarta is seeking an entry-level QA Tester to assist in understanding product requirements, design test scenarios, and perform both manual and automated testing across ERP modules. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure features meet specifications and maintain quality standards.

The role supports testing across development, staging, and production, with an emphasis on thorough documentation, defect tracking, and continuous improvement in testing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Software), or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
• 0-1 years of working experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Understanding of SDLC and software testing concepts.
• Familiarity with API testing, automated testing, and database basics.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist in understanding and reviewing product requirements and business processes to ensure they are clear and testable.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and testing documentation based on product requirements.
• Perform manual testing of ERP software applications, including functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for selected scenarios to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, UI/UX designers, and analysts to clarify requirements and ensure features meet specifications.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear repro steps to aid troubleshooting.
• Retest and regression test after defects are resolved, including running automated tests.
• Test across development, staging, and production environments and contribute to process improvements.

Job Description:

• * Assist in understanding and reviewing product requirements and business processes to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
• * Assist in preparing test scenarios, test cases, and testing documentation based on product requirements and business processes.
• * Perform manual testing of ERP software applications, including functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing for new features and existing modules.
• * Develop and maintain automated test scripts for selected test scenarios to improve testing efficiency and coverage, under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
• * Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, UI/UX designers, and analysts to clarify requirements, identify potential issues, and ensure features meet expected specifications.
• * Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting information to assist developers in troubleshooting and resolution.
• * Perform retesting and regression testing after defects have been resolved, including executing relevant automated test scripts to ensure fixes work as expected and do not introduce new issues.
• * Assist in testing across development, staging, and production environments, and contribute to improving testing processes, documentation, and overall software quality.
• * Stay updated with the latest industry trends, testing methodologies, automation practices, and emerging technologies in software quality assurance.
• * Willing to be full WFO in Jakarta (Sudirman).

Requirement:

• * Must possess a Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Software), or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
• * Having 0-1 years of working experience.
• * Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• * Passionate about software quality and web/application development.
• * Understanding of software testing concepts, including test cases, test scenarios, bug reporting, regression testing, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• * Understanding of Web Application Development and basic database concepts.
• * Basic understanding of programming fundamentals and/or scripting.
• * Familiarity with API testing, automated testing, SQL and database testing, bug tracking or test management tools is a plus.
• * High level of integrity and ethics.
