Job summary

SG-EDTS is seeking a data analyst to analyze, transform, and visualize data using SQL and BI tools to drive data-driven decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, deliver reporting solutions, and continuously develop technical and analytical skills.

The role requires a related bachelor's degree, 1–2 years of experience, strong SQL, and hands-on experience with at least one BI tool.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, CS, IS, Electrical Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00.
• 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, BI, data science, or related field.
• Fresh graduates with strong internship or project experience may be considered.
• Strong SQL skills including SELECT statements, JOINs, aggregations, subqueries/CTEs, and window functions.
• Hands-on experience using at least one BI/visualization tool (Power BI/Tableau/Looker).
• Good understanding of data analysis, statistics, data mining, and data visualization.
• Basic understanding of databases, data management, Big Data, and cloud platforms.
• Ability to translate data into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• English written and verbal communication skills.

Person We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00
• 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data science, or a related field
• Fresh graduates with strong relevant internship or project experience may also be considered
• Strong SQL skills, including SELECT statements, JOINs, aggregations, subqueries/CTEs, and window functions
• Hands-on experience using at least one BI/visualization tool, such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent
• Good understanding of data analysis, statistics, data mining, and data visualization
• Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis is a plus.
• Basic understanding of databases, data management, Big Data, and cloud platforms is an advantage
• Ability to clean, transform, analyze, and interpret data to generate meaningful insights
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Able to translate data into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations
