PT TDK Electronics Indonesia in Batam is seeking an Assistant Technician for Prototype Sample to support preparation, assembly, testing, and documentation of prototype samples. You will work closely with PD-Engineer and other departments to ensure samples meet specifications and schedules.

The role requires SMK in a technical field and at least 1 year in manufacturing or prototype development, with basic measurement skills and English proficiency.

Formación

• SMK in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics or related technical field.
• 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory, or prototype development.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Experience with basic measurement equipment.
• Good in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare materials, components, and tools for prototype sample builds.
• Assemble prototype samples according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Support testing, measurement, and evaluation activities for prototype samples.
• Record build data, test results, and sample status accurately.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during prototype builds.
• Coordinate with PD-Engineer, Quality, Production, and other departments as required.
• Maintain prototype sample inventory, equipment, and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Track prototype sample progress and support on-time delivery.

Assistant Technician for Prototype Sample

Support prototype sample preparation and delivery activities to ensure samples are built according to specifications and schedules.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Prepare materials, components, and tools for prototype sample builds.
• Assemble prototype samples according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Support testing, measurement, and evaluation activities for prototype samples.
• Support feasibility trial requested by PD-Engineer and evaluation activities.
• Record build data, test results, and sample status accurately.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during prototype builds.
• Coordinate with PD-Engineer, Quality, Production, and other departments as required.
• Maintain prototype sample inventory, equipment, and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Track prototype sample progress and support on-time delivery.
• Perform other prototype-related tasks assigned by supervisors.

Authorization

Authorized to assemble, inspect, test, and document prototype samples; operate assigned equipment; coordinate prototype activities; and report quality, technical, or safety issues to the supervisor.

Conditions of employment and interaction

Cooperation with PD team and other internal departments within BT TPS.

Requirements

Vocational High School (SMK) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field.

Experiences

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, laboratory, or prototype development.
• Product assembly, testing, inspection, or sample preparation activities.
• Using basic measurement and inspection equipment.
• Working with technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Maintaining records, test results, and production-related documentation.

Knowledge

• Prototype sample preparation, assembly, and handling processes.
• Manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions.
• Basic measurement and inspection techniques.
• Testing methods and equipment used for prototype evaluation.
• Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills.
