Job summary

Luxury Inn Arion Hotel in Jakarta is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to support the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales plans, managing corporate and group accounts, and fostering relationships with travel agents, EOs, and key partners.

You will prepare proposals, coordinate with front office and marketing teams, conduct site inspections, and participate in industry events to expand the hotel's client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in hotel sales or hospitality with room, events, and corporate accounts knowledge.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to build client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to market analysis and sales reporting
• Participate in sales calls, trade shows, and networking events to expand the hotel's client base

About you

• Experience in hotel sales or the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of room sales, events, and corporate accounts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients
• Solid negotiation, presentation, and customer service skills to support revenue growth and guest satisfaction
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
• Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales or reservation systems; understanding of basic reporting and data analysis
• Fluent in English and Indonesian (both spoken and written) to interact effectively with local and international clients
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role at a hotel or resort in Jakarta or a comparable market is an advantage
