Job summary

Skintific in Indonesia is seeking an Assistant Manager, Account Payable to lead and optimize the accounts payable function. You will oversee daily AP operations, ensure timely payments, and maintain strong vendor relationships to support rapid growth.

The role requires 5–6 years in finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, and strong ERP and Excel skills. Fluency in English is required, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in Finance/Accounting with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in FMCG, Retail, or E-commerce is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Indonesia tax regulations and PSAK.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.

• Process Optimization: Standardize and streamline AP workflows for efficiency.

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and results-oriented Assistant Manager, Account Payable to join our dynamic Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring that all financial obligations are met accurately and on time. You will play a key role in optimizing payment processes and maintaining strong vendor relationships to support Skintific’s rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise the AP team, providing guidance and ensuring the accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payment runs.
• Process Optimization: Standardize and streamline AP workflows to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Vendor Management: Handle complex vendor inquiries and ensure timely reconciliation of vendor statements.
• Compliance & Internal Control: Ensure all payments comply with company policies and local tax regulations (VAT/WHT).
• Reporting: Prepare monthly aging reports, cash flow forecasts related to payables, and other financial schedules for the month-end closing process.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Finance/Accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role.
• Industry Background: Experience in FMCG, Retail, or E-commerce industries is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indonesia tax regulations and Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK).
• Language: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
