Job summary

PTT Synergy Group Berhad, a leader in IoT-driven intralogistics, seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee daily maintenance of warehouse facilities and equipment. You will lead a team, plan preventive programs, and coordinate with external contractors to minimize downtime.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical and 5+ years in automated warehouse maintenance, with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in managerial role in automated warehouse solutions.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance activities to keep warehouse equipment, machineries, processing lines, and facilities running safely and reliably.
• Plan and assign maintenance work to technicians and ensure jobs are completed on time and according to SLA requirements.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team to improve performance and competency.
• Coordinate breakdown and corrective maintenance to restore equipment and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Plan and improve preventive and predictive maintenance activities to align with client’s operations.
• Monitor equipment condition and identify potential problems before breakdowns.
• Ensure reliable operations and maintenance of utilities systems (electrical, water, compressed air, steam, HVAC, etc.).
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely and per requirements.
• Ensure maintenance activities are updated in the e-Maintenance system.
• Monitor maintenance performance, downtime, and SLA achievement, taking action when targets are not met.
• Apply TPM, Lean, and continuous improvement to improve reliability and maintenance efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable legal and client requirements.

• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team to improve performance and competency.
• Coordinate breakdown and corrective maintenance to restore equipment and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Plan and improve preventive and predictive maintenance activities to align with client’s operations.
• Monitor equipment condition and identify potential problems before breakdowns.

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable legal and client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or any related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferable in managerial role in the automated warehouse solutions industry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility, interpersonal skills, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
